Meet Julia Sinelnikova, GO Neighborhood Coordinator for Bushwick.  It’s hard to explain the awesome that is Julia, but if you went to Bushwick Open Studios this year you may have some idea.  She’s the co-lead organizer for Arts in Bushwick and blew us away in her interview, which happened the morning after that massive 500+ studio event.  She came in prepared and ready to go with tons of good ideas right on the heels of that weekend and, needless to say, we were impressed.  Julia is also an artist who works in painting and photomontage. In her own words…
I’ve lived in Bushwick for 4 years.
You’ll find me hanging out at Wyckoff Starr cafe, House of Yes, 1717 Troutman studios, rooftops
I’ll never move from Bushwick because you’d never find such a diverse, collaborative environment in such a radical landscape.
