Wow, what a great place for a meetup! Last night, we held a Red Hook meetup at Sunny’s Bar and, even with the big storm, we had a great turnout with approximately 50 attendees. As a Red Hook resident, this kind of event left me feeling like my neighborhood is an even smaller town than before and getting to know more people through GO is something that I’m finding a really rewarding part of the project.
We’ve got a lot of meetups scheduled and encourage everyone (artists, voters, and volunteers!) to think about attending these great events. The same night we were in Red Hook, another 40 people were meeting each other at the Ditmas Park event. It’s a great time to ask questions about the project, here more about GO and meet your neighbors.
For those of you who came to the Ditmas Park and Red Hook meetups, it was great to see you and thanks for making these events such a success!
