Calling all artists and community members in the area! Come out to Red Lantern Bicycles and check out this open informational session organized by your Neighborhood Coordinators, Gisela Insuaste (Ft. This unique neighborhood bike shop also offers coffee and beer ($2 PBR special!) so enjoy a cold beverage and snacks while we review the open studio weekend logistics and answer any questions by artists and voters alike. We will cover such topics as: studio preparation, voter registration, and setting up/sharing an itinerary.  

And don’t forget- get your bike ready for the GO open studio weekend! Bring it out tonight and get it serviced during our info. session.

Hola hola! When I first moved to the neighborhood, I heard about SONYA (South of the Navy Yard Artists) and checked out the studio stroll that year and had a great time! Stop by this weekend (it’s going to be goregous!) and check out the artwork by the amazing artists in this year’s 13th Annual SONYA Studio Stroll on Saturday June 9th & Sunday, June 10th from 12PM- 6PM both days, rain or shine. Of course, it’s free and open to the public. The studio stroll takes place throughout the Fort Greene, Clinton Hill, Wallabout and Bed-Stuy neighborhoods so check out the site for more information, down load maps, preview artists page, etc.!
